"Why do i have to explain who I am Again and Again and Again?" - Revolution.... I just thought that quote was kind of relevant to a certain subject open recently. Kind of appropriate. Kind of applicable. Generally it's not an inaccurate sentiment, considering.
Now for something completely different... movies! I've seen a few recently.
She's the Man is completely entertaining and escapist and i'm sure in about nine months i'll own it. Similarly, i adored Failure to Launch. That movie cracked me up. Pretty literally.
V for Vendetta... i liked. I can't spend too much time deconstructing it because the movie sadly then falls apart, but, like Vanity Fair, i find it very interesting that this movie dares to have the hero be a terrorist and blows up a major world landmark as the crowning achievement of the film - with everyone cheering right on. For that, and for perhaps making a few people who hadn't before look critically at the world we are creating, this movie is worthy. I'm not quite sure of what, but i liked it.
... and now? Now i'm exhausted. I'm going to finish dying my hair and go to sleep. Happy Post-St. Patrick's Day, everyone!
