So i'm sick.
I've been meaning to write... but well... i'm kinda slow at the moment. And i'm actually leaving to go home. But i figured i'd say hi.
Bobby leaned on PBS last night; thank goodness for PBS.

May 15th will be the last tuesday evening with a new Gilmore Girls. Thank goodness. Not that i don't love this show (when "this show" is defined by seasons 1-4... 5 is pushing it...) but, like a sports hero who kept playing well beyond their prime, GG should have been retired a while ago. So i'm glad. I'll even watch the finale - maybe make a little party of the evening, who knows.

Since i have the television floor for a moment, i'd like to enter a general plea to hollywood in general to learn when to say enough is enough. For example, Spiderman 3 - and heaven forbid Spiderman 4 - the most expensive movie to date and a certified dud... did we really need to go there? No. Also, Lost season... more than one. Lost was a great one season story line that hasn't exactly stretched well - should have finished it's run and be done, but could hollywood let their golden advertising opportunity go? Of course not. What else, oh, how about the Addison wanna-be spinoff from Grey's. I can't even talk about how mind-numbingly boring, dumb, and done that one is.
Sometimes the universe needs so desperately to tell you something it resorts to hitting you over the head with increasing force and vigor until you finally get it and cry "enough!". That would be the point to act and change and grow - make something new happen, continue to move forward.
Forward progress: isn't that what we all aspire to anyways?
